Over the years Gaslamp Quarter has gone through many changes. We opened our doors in June of 2001. Back then we were one of the few high end home décor galleries in the area. We were one of the very first pet friendly shops where our four legged family members came to work with us to greet our customers. We offered pottery classes teaching our students using traditional Japanese techniques. Our neighbors included some fine art galleries, an eclectic café, exotic furniture gallery, Spanish tapas restaurant, and Japanese sushi bar to name a few…. A lovely mixture of brick and mortar businesses offering unique dining and shopping experience. I remember when Street Scene use to be held in the Gaslamp Quarter. The corner park where the first wooden house stand as a museum - a little green oasis among what use to be parking lots are now surrounded by high rise condominiums. Little by little our neighbors turned from unique shops to bars and restaurants. So now it is our turn. After 15 years we are bidding sayonara and closing our gallery. It has been a pleasure to be part of the community. To our loyal customers who came to our gallery year after year, to those customers and neighbors who offered scratches and treats to our 4 legged co-workers, and to those customers and friends who stop by just to say hello and chat, thank you for all these years. Our online store will continue its operation and offering goods at discounted price while inventory is still available. In the meantime we are looking for a new location on the other side of the continent, as far South as you can get. Otherwise known as “The Conch Republic” or “Southernmost”, in Key West, Florida! We will do our best to keep you updated on our future home for the gallery. Thank you for all the great memories!
